How much does FDM printing cost?

• Clean printer
  • wash build plate with warm water
  • heat up nozzles to 150°C and remove plastic stuck on the nozzle (with tweezers or a paper towel)
  • clean Bowden tube by pushing a piece of sponge trough. Tight fit, and a new piece of sponge per tube.
• Lubricate axles
  • clean all smooth axles with a paper towel
  • one drop of Unilube on all smooth axles (also the two vertical ones). Move the print head and bed manually to distribute.

• Check for play on axles
• Check tension of short belts
• Check for residue in front fan of print head
• Check quality of silicone nozzle cover
• Clean print cores
• Clean the feeders
• Lubricate lead screw Z motor

• Lubricate the feeder gear
• Replace Bowden tubes
• Clean the system fans
• Lubricate the hinges
