Engraving large pockets

To engrave pockets that are wider than the chamfer tool's diameter, follow these steps:

• In this example, the engraving should be 3mm deep
• OP 1: 2D pocket.
  • Set bottom height to the selected contour with an offset of -3mm.
  • under radial stock to leave, enter the radius of the V-bit at 3mm from the tip
    • to calculate this offset, make a cross-sectional drawing of the V-bit and measure the diameter at the correct distance (3mm) from the tip. Divide this length to become the radius.
