Sometimes a 3D scan has jagged protrusions.

  * Go to the sculpting workspace
  * select the 'Simplify' brush
  * Set autosmooth to 1
  * enable 'Dyntopo'
  * Change the 'Refine Method' to 'Collapse Edges'
  * Deselect button 'X' in the Symmetry tab

Sculpt over the glitch-feature. It should easily disappear.
